COTUIT FIRE DISTRICT

Prudential Committee

The Prudential Committee will hold an informational meeting Thursday, March 15th, at 7:00 PM in Freedom Hall to go over the possible changes to the health care coverage that will be available to employees and officials after July 1st.

All employees and officials are encouraged to attend. Members of the public are also welcome.

TO THE CLERK OF THE COTUIT FIRE DISTRICT, GREETING:

You are hereby required and directed to notify and warn the inhabitants of the Town of Barnstable residing within the territory comprising the Cotuit Fire District qualified to vote in District elections and affairs to meet in the Cotuit Fire Department, 64 High Street, Cotuit, on Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at six o’clock PM, when action will be taken on the following article:

Article 1:  To see if the District will vote to adopt MGL Chapter 32B, Sections 21, 22 and 23, which provides the authority to implement changes in the District’s

health insurance coverage for employees.

Hereof fail not to make due return of this warrant and your  doings thereon at said meeting.

Nomination papers are available at the Cotuit Water Department located at 4300 Falmouth Road, Cotuit, MA, for the following positions:

Prudential Committee                    3 year term

Water Commissioner                      3 year term

Fire Commissioner                          3 year term

Nomination papers must be presented to the Board of Registrars no later than Friday, April 13,n2012, and returned to the District Clerk by Monday, April 23, 2012.  All citizen petitions must also be presented to the Board of Registrars of Voters by Friday, April 13, 2012, and returned to the District Clerk by Monday, April 23, 2012.

The election will be held on Tuesday, May 29, 2012, with the Annual District Meeting scheduled for Wednesday, May 30, 2012
